R--Appraisal Services: Northern Cheyenne Sales

The Department of the Interior is seeking appraisal services for the Northern Cheyenne Sales. The selected contractor will provide market value appraisals for various tracts of land located within the Cheyenne River Reservation. The appraisals will be used to assist in a potential land exchange. The contractor will be required to inspect each tract, research and analyze market data, and provide a written appraisal report. The report must meet the requirements of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and include a summary of the relevant market data, a discussion of the highest and best use of the property, and an estimate of the market value of the property. Key aspects of the job include: • Inspecting each tract of land to gather data and information • Researching and analyzing market data to determine the market value of the property • Providing a written appraisal report that meets USPAP requirements • Including a summary of relevant market data, a discussion of the highest and best use of the property, and an estimate of the market value of the property • Coordinating with the BIA and AVSO review appraiser to ensure compliance with the statement of work and USPAP requirements
