Used Tire Removal, Term Agreement

The Baltimore County, Maryland, Purchasing Division is seeking bids for used tire removal services. The contractor will collect all tires from the County's Vehicle Operations Maintenance (VOM) locations and will charge Baltimore County the quoted price, per tire, for each tire collected. The quoted price, per tire, shall include all labor, transportation, and all products and services inclusive for pick up and removal of tires. The contractor must possess and maintain a tire hauling license issued by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) while this contract is in effect. • The contractor will collect tires from three VOM locations: 9428 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133; 1112 Gilroy Road, Hunt Valley, MD 21031; and 511 Mace Avenue, Essex, MD 21221. • The contractor must provide the final MDE licensed or approved destination for tires which are determined as scrap. • The contractor must be familiar with all Federal, State, and County laws, and all codes and ordinances of the County concerning tire recycling and processing. • The contractor must load all tires and provide legible documentation for each pickup.
