Tuolumne County Ambulance Services

The County of Tuolumne is seeking a qualified organization to provide personnel and management to operate the Tuolumne County Ambulance Service (TCAS). The selected contractor will be responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency medical transport services within the County, excluding the portion within Yosemite National Park. The contractor will also be required to provide sufficient field staff, supervisors, and management to ensure 24/7 coverage. The contract term is for five years, with the option to extend for an additional five years. The contractor will be required to meet specific performance standards and provide reports to the County to track performance and contract adherence. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing emergency and non-emergency medical transport services • Maintaining sufficient field staff, supervisors, and management for 24/7 coverage • Meeting specific performance standards • Providing reports to the County to track performance and contract adherence • Participating in the County's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process • Cooperating with system research and innovation committees • Maintaining a high level of clinical performance and meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
