Standard- and Medium-Duty Towing and Storage Services, Service Area 14 for LAPD

The Los Angeles Police Commission is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Standard- and Medium-Duty Towing and Storage Services as an Official Police Garage for the City of Los Angeles in Service Area 14. The selected vendor will be responsible for responding to and providing towing and storage services upon request by authorized City employees. The vendor will also be required to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. • The scope of work includes towing and storage of vehicles weighing 10,000 pounds or less (standard-duty) and vehicles weighing between 10,001 pounds and 26,000 pounds (medium-duty). • The vendor will be required to provide services on a 24-hour, 365-days-per-year basis. • The vendor will be required to have sufficient financial resources to perform the services required. • The vendor will be required to have or obtain the property and equipment required for operation of an Official Police Garage. • The vendor will be required to demonstrate past and present ability to fulfill the requirements set forth in the RFP.
