The Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking to enhance the quality and performance of congressional print products by exploring a phased transition from offset paper to inkjet-treated paper. The GPO is looking for vendors who can supply both offset and inkjet-treated paper products, with the ability to support a transition period where both product types may be required concurrently. The required paper products include 40 lb. offset paper rolls with a 3-inch core, 50-inch diameter, and widths of 13", 15", and 18.5". Vendors must demonstrate their capability to meet the requirement, provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing, and support a phased transition within approximately six months during the first year.
Key requirements include:
• Supplying offset paper rolls with the specified characteristics
• Recommending equivalent inkjet-treated paper alternatives
• Supporting a phased transition from offset to inkjet-treated paper
• Meeting JCP A55 standards
• Providing ROM pricing for each CLIN
• Identifying typical lead times and supply chain constraints
• Describing manufacturing source and ability to support both offset and inkjet products concurrently
