Description
The IBEX program is seeking industry capability and capacity determination support for a mortuary affairs report on Washington state. The report will provide in-depth information on current practices of implant recycling practices within the US mortuary industry, identifying best practices, barriers to adoption, and opportunities for improvement. The goal is to inform policy recommendations and promote sustainable waste management in Washington state. Key aspects of the job include:
* Providing industry expertise to support DOD operations in remote or hostile environments
* Leveraging commercial sector expertise to gain access to commercial capabilities
* Identifying best practices and barriers to adoption in implant recycling practices
* Informing policy recommendations for sustainable waste management
* Providing industrial base awareness over assets that can be utilized during a contingency or national emergency
