Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Repair - 2026

The City of Parkville is seeking bids for the repair of its Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF). The project includes various repairs and replacements, such as replacing existing equipment, structures, piping, and electrical systems. The work will be constructed by a contractor for the City of Parkville, Missouri. • Replacing one existing yard hydrant • Draining and cleaning one existing aeration basin • Replacing existing diffuser membranes in one existing aeration basin • Removing and replacing one submersible mixer in an aeration basin • Modifying existing welded-steel blower/air piping and installing new valves • Demolition of an existing pump and ductile iron fittings and valves in an existing pipe gallery • Replacing a section of existing ductile iron pipe in an existing pipe gallery • Replacing an existing gate valve in an existing pipe gallery • Installing one new plug valve in the RAS/ WAS valve pit • Fabricating and installing a new manual bar rack at the existing headworks platform • Electrical work, including replacing two adjustable frequency drives with line reactors for the new blowers • Transfer pumping of wastewater and mixed liquor between tanks • Surface restoration, clean-up, and other miscellaneous work
