UNARMED CRISIS RESPONSE SERVICE PROVIDERS

The City of Los Angeles is seeking to establish a bench of pre-qualified crisis response service providers to deliver rapid mobile response to non-emergency, non-violent 9-1-1 calls. The selected service providers will be expected to provide real-time crisis response and light-touch post-crisis support. The scope of work includes building and aligning their program with the City's established framework, delivering real-time crisis response, providing light-touch post-crisis support, and maintaining accurate records. The contract term is five years, and the City intends to release task order solicitations for selected service areas. • The City is looking for service providers with experience in crisis response, mental health, and social work. • The service providers will be expected to work in a team environment and provide clinical oversight to responders. • The City is seeking proposals from organizations that can demonstrate their ability to deliver high-quality services and meet the requirements outlined in the RFQ. • The selection process will include an evaluation of proposals based on criteria such as demonstrated ability, proposed service delivery approach, community experience, and collaborations and partnerships. • The City is committed to ensuring that the selected service providers are able to provide culturally competent and linguistically appropriate services to the diverse population of Los Angeles.
