Wireless Telecommunications Consulting Services

UConn seeks an experienced, independent consulting firm to audit, evaluate, and advise on its wireless telecommunications agreements and assets across multiple campuses. The consultant will analyze existing macro‑cell towers, micro‑cell sites, and DAS nodes; develop negotiation strategies to improve lease/rent and revenue‑sharing terms; provide financial valuations for lease buyouts, perpetual easements, and rights‑of‑first‑refusal; and assess the impact of carrier mergers and new deployments on UConn’s negotiating position. The engagement is a three‑year contract with optional one‑year extensions (up to six years total) and will be awarded based on experience, technical approach, and price. • Conduct site‑level audits, GIS mapping, and in‑building coverage assessments. • Produce financial and valuation analyses to support lease negotiations and buyout decisions. • Deliver strategic recommendations and advisory support for license‑agreement negotiations and future micro‑cell installations.
