Description
The City of Hastings, through Hastings Utilities, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide and install a new underground fiber‑optic duct and cable system connecting Well 25 to Well 8 at the Crane Substation. The work includes trenching, duct placement, cable pulling, and related back‑fill and restoration activities to enable reliable communications infrastructure for the utility’s operations.
• Supply and install underground conduit (UNG) from Crane Ave Substation Well 25 to Well 8.
• Pull and terminate fiber‑optic cable within the installed duct, meeting industry performance specifications.
• Perform all required civil works, including trench excavation, back‑fill, compaction, and site restoration to pre‑construction conditions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and provide necessary documentation and testing results.
