Ute Dam Outlet Works Modification Project

The State of New Mexico is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a comprehensive modification of the Ute Dam outlet works. The work includes civil‑structural repairs, installation of a new bypass pipeline, extensive underwater and electrical work, coating/painting, and full commissioning of the system to meet dam‑safety requirements. The contractor must provide all required engineering sub‑mittals, safety plans, and operate under a single‑award construction contract. • Mobilization, site restoration, and access‑road maintenance. • Underwater bulkhead repair, installation of a new bypass system (pipes, valves, actuators, flowmeter). • Electrical upgrades, wiring, control panel replacement, and grounding. • Pipe inspection, lining/coating repairs, and full commissioning/testing. • Detailed documentation, O&M manuals, and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and New Mexico dam‑safety regulations.
