The Inc. Village of Hempstead is seeking bids for Water Infrastructure Improvements, specifically Contract No. 1 – Water Mains – Phase 0. The project involves the improvement of water transmission infrastructure in the village. Bidders are required to submit their proposals on the prescribed forms, and all blank spaces for bid prices must be filled in, both in words and figures. The village reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bids which they deem most favorable to the interest of the village. • The bid submission type is physical bid submission. • A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on December 3, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. • All questions concerning the project must be submitted in writing to Mr. Anthony Zalak by December 11, 2025. • The village is not responsible for any internal or external delivery delays, which may cause a bid to arrive beyond the deadline. • Bidders must comply with all requirements of the specific Federal grants program, including the Davis-Bacon Act, EPA’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program, Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, and American Iron and Steel (AIS) Act.
