Description
The City of Washington/Wilkes County is seeking bids for the construction of the FY 2023 CDBG Water System Improvements. The work to be completed includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to install approximately 7,200 LF of 8", 6", and 2" PVC/DIP water main, including fire hydrants, valves, driveway replacement, earthwork, grassing, soil erosion and sedimentation control measures, and appurtenances necessary to provide a complete installation.
• The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant Program and local funds.
• The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements.
• Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
• The project must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days.
