Wilbur Square Park Irrigation Renovation

The City of Boulder City is seeking bids for the Wilbur Square Park Irrigation Renovation project. The project involves replacing the existing irrigation system with a new, fully automated system to serve the park's turfgrass areas. The work includes construction of a new point-of-connection to the existing raw water distribution mainline, installation of mainline and lateral piping, booster pumping equipment, pedestal-mounted irrigation controller, rain sensor, flow valve assemblies, gate valves, valve boxes, quick coupling valves, and other components. The system will utilize a conventional low-voltage wire setup with supplementary two-wire cable for future conversion. The contractor will be responsible for verifying existing site conditions, providing all required fittings and connections, and completing all turf repair needed due to the work. The project also includes a one-year warranty for the scope of work performed. • The project requires the contractor to work with the City and the special event coordinator to allow for a special event in Wilbur Square to proceed safely. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, including minimum wage rates, overtime work, hiring and discrimination, and prevailing wage rates. • The contractor must maintain a City of Boulder City Business License prior to the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must provide a proposal guarantee, which will be returned within 10 calendar days after award of the contract. • The contractor must execute a written contract with the Owner within 15 calendar days after receipt of the contract. The project is expected to start after the award of the contract and must be completed within 60 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed.
