Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking bids for the operation of a mobile food truck concession at Taylorsville Lake State Park. The successful bidder will be awarded a license agreement to provide concession services for events at the park. The agreement will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew automatically for five additional one-year periods. The bidder must provide a modern, mobile food truck and staff to operate the concession. The bidder will be responsible for paying a percentage of gross receipts to the Commonwealth. The minimum acceptable monthly bid amount is 10% of gross receipts.
* The bidder must provide a detailed description of their past experience in operating a mobile food truck providing concessions, canteen, catering, and retail business.
* The bidder must comply with all applicable state and federal statutes, rules, and regulations.
* The bidder must provide a tablet-type payment system to accept credit cards.
* The bidder must maintain adequate records and books of accounts.
* The bidder must carry public liability insurance and provide insurance coverage for their mobile food truck.
