Riprap, Aggregate, Base Material and Sand

The City of Fort Myers is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide riprap, aggregate base material, and sand for roadwork projects. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and delivering the materials, which must comply with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. The contract will be for a term of three years, with two one-year renewal options. • The contractor must hold any necessary licenses to do business in the State of Florida. • The contractor must have been in business under the current company/firm name for a minimum of five consecutive years prior to the date of submission. • The contractor must provide written evidence of their qualifications to perform the work, including financial data, previous experience, and present commitments. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, codes, and regulations. • The contractor must provide certified weight tickets for each load of materials delivered. • The contractor must allow the City to inspect the materials at any time.
