Gretna Boulevard Water Tower Repairs

The City of Gretna is seeking bids for the repair of the Gretna Boulevard 500,000 gallon elevated water tank. The scope of work includes pit repair, tank interior full blast and paint, tank exterior power spraying, and all other incidental work. Bidders must obtain a contractor's license from the State of Louisiana prior to submitting their bid, and only contractors with a Category IV classification may submit bids for this project. The work is to commence immediately after the date of contract, and completion is required within 60 calendar days. • The bid security must be 5% of the total bid • The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond • Bidders are invited to a non-mandatory pre-bid conference on February 4, 2026 • No bid may be withdrawn within a period of 45 days after the date fixed for opening bids • The City of Gretna reserves the right to reject all bids, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids
