Description
Rowan County is seeking a vendor to remount an existing Type III ambulance onto a van cutaway style chassis configuration. The ambulance is currently mounted on a 2018 Ford E450 158-inch chassis and must meet or exceed all GVWR ambulance standards as specified in CAAS 3.0. The scope of work includes the remounting of the existing ambulance, replacement of various components, and inspection and repair of existing systems. The successful bidder will be required to provide a minimum one-year warranty for all materials and workmanship.
• The contract will be awarded based on the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
• The bidder must submit a signed bid, which will be considered an offer on the part of the bidder.
• The bidder must provide insurance coverage, including worker's compensation, comprehensive general liability, and comprehensive automobile liability.
• The bidder must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, codes, and regulations concerning the submission of this bid and the work it effects.
