Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Battle Creek VA Medical Center, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Bronson Methodist Hospital for reference laboratory testing services. The contract will have a base year and four option years. The contractor will provide microbiology, blood bank services, and backup general laboratory testing. The period of performance will be from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027.
• The contractor must provide stat results within one hour of sample collection.
• The contractor must conform to VHA Directive 1101.13(1) Appendix B.
• The small business size standard for this contract is $41.5 million.
• The contract will be a firm fixed price contract.
