The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business to provide generator cleaning services at the Asheville, NC, VA Medical Center. The contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act, which requires contractors to pay employees at least the minimum wage rates listed in the wage determination. The contractor will also be required to provide fringe benefits, including health and welfare, vacation, and holidays. The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the government, considering factors such as price, technical capability, and past performance. • The contractor will be responsible for cleaning generators at the VA Medical Center. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Service Contract Act. • The contractor must provide employees with fringe benefits, including health and welfare, vacation, and holidays. • The contractor must pay employees at least the minimum wage rates listed in the wage determination. • The contractor must provide a written report listing the proposed classification title, Federal grade equivalency, job description, and rationale for proposed wage rate for any unlisted class of employees.
