Description
The Department of the Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors to remove and replace Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units and chillers in Building 2265 at Fort Sam Houston. The work will include the disconnection, removal, and disposal of the old units, followed by the installation, connection, and commissioning of the new equipment. The objective is to replace six CRAC units and two chillers with "same-in-kind" units. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to complete the work.
• The work will be conducted at Building 2265, JBSA FSH 78234.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications.
• The Government is interested in collecting market information to determine the applicable planning and acquisition strategy.
• The anticipated award is Firm Fixed Price (FFP).
