DLA Energy Seeks Responsibly Qualified Businesses and Obtain Information Regarding Possible Suppliers To Provide Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated, Defense Fuel Support Point Services in Portland, Maine Area

The Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA-Energy) is seeking information from responsibly qualified businesses to provide Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated (COCO) Defense Fuel Support Point (DFSP) services in the Portland, Maine area. The requirement includes approximately 150,000 barrels storage capacity, with a minimum of two tanks interconnected, and additive injection capability for all Jet A outbound shipments. The U.S. Government anticipates solicitation of a four-year Firm-Fixed-Price contract with one five-year option. • The contract will require the provision of aviation turbine fuel, commercial grade Jet A, with additive injection capability. • The contractor must have the financial capability and stability to sustain and support a four-year contract. • The contractor must be able to provide qualified and experienced personnel with appropriate clearances, if required. • The contractor must have past performance as a prime contractor or subcontractor on service contracts for similar fuels management requirements.
