Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry, is seeking bids for non-emergency transport services for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) in Cambria County. The services will be provided to employees who are blind, visually impaired, or have other disabilities that prevent them from driving themselves. The contractor will be required to provide ambulatory and non-ambulatory transports, and their vehicles must be equipped with a wheelchair ramp and/or lift and tie-downs. The contract will be for a period of 15 months.
• The contractor must be a small business, as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services.
• The contractor must provide proof of vehicle insurance and liability insurance.
• The contractor must undergo a background check and provide a 3-year driving history.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to the transportation of individuals with disabilities.
