Request for Information - Printers and Multifunction Devices (MFD's)

The Department of General Services, Procurement Division (DGS/PD) is seeking information from interested suppliers for a statewide contract for Printers and Multifunction Devices (MFD's). The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information about current market conditions, collect information from manufacturers/suppliers on the availability of products, and identify manufacturers/suppliers of these products on a statewide basis. The scope of work includes providing printers and MFDs that are printer-based machines only, with the contract resulting from the solicitation being a mandatory contract for State departments and available for local governmental agencies use. The estimated value of the contract is $3.8 million per year. The key requirements for the MFDs include security features such as having patches applied to comply with the original equipment manufacturer's and software vendor's maintenance, prohibiting large group distribution via outbound email, and disabling dial-in diagnostic capabilities.
