Instructor Support - NCTC Gulfport, MS

The United States Navy is seeking instructor support services for the Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) in Gulfport, Mississippi. The contractor will provide qualified instructors to teach various construction-related courses, including builder apprentice training, steelworker training, and construction project management. The instructors will be responsible for providing training to military personnel in the Army, Air Force, and Navy. The contract will require the contractor to provide instructors with expertise in areas such as construction mathematics, blueprint reading, and welding. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining academic standards, providing remediation to students, and coordinating with the Government to ensure that the training requirements are met. Some of the key courses that will be taught include: • Inter-Service Builder Apprentice Training (BU-A NAVY) • Steelworker Class A USN Block 0 • Steelworker Class A USN Block 1 • Construction Project Estimating • Construction Project Planning and Scheduling • Construction Project Execution • Concrete and Masonry • Structure Framing • Interior and Exterior Finishes • Heavy Construction I and II • Powder Actuated Tools • Welding Supervisor • Sheetmetal Work • Steel Reinforcing • Gas Cutting and Welding • Metal Fabrication and Layout • Arc Welding (Structural and Pipe) • Shielded Inert Gas Welding • Transportation Operations • Earthwork Operations • Pavements • Construction Inspector • Tool and Equipment Maintenance Technician The contractor will be required to provide a Training Master Scheduler to coordinate all training conducted by the Naval Construction Training Center Gulfport. The Training Master Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating input from the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE) and Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) regarding the number of classes, area of instruction, class size, and schedule dates for proposed classes.
