North Water Reclamation Facility Improvements

The Town of Erie is seeking a design services consultant for the North Water Reclamation Facility Improvements project. The project includes the design of several improvements, including the construction of an enclosed sampling and flow measurement structure, assessment of modifications to Boulder Creek, construction of a paved road, telemetry from the structure to the NWRF Admin Building, addition of vertical turbine pumps, evaluation and upgrade of the HVAC system, addition of a fifth blower, and addition of a second mechanical bar screen. The consultant will provide preliminary and final design services, bidding phase services, and construction phase services. The scope of work includes project administration, management, and coordination, codes, regulations, and design standards, pre-design, conceptual pipeline route evaluation, environmental compliance and permitting, and final design documents. • Key services include preliminary design, final design, bidding phase services, and construction phase services • The project requires compliance with federal and state environmental regulations • The consultant must have experience with wastewater treatment facilities and similar sized communities • The proposal must include a detailed description of the firm's understanding of the project and proposed approach • The selection process will be based on qualifications and approach, with a short-list of companies selected for further evaluation
