Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution is soliciting quotes for barrier material for the Red River. The material must meet specific requirements, including being water/vapor-proofed, flexible, and having a maximum water vapor transmission rate. The solicitation includes two line items: a barrier material with a scrim backing and a flat kraft wrap. Vendors must acknowledge receipt of the amendment prior to the due date and time.
• The barrier material must meet MIL-PRF-131, Class 3, and have a minimum break strength of 50 lbs/in.
• The flat kraft wrap must meet MIL-PRF-121G and have a 60# natural kraft paper/PE structure.
• Vendors must use heat-treated pallets, and winged pallets are not required if the pallets are not damaged and safe to ship.
