RFQ Design Services - Campus Signage Standards and Specifications Development

The State University of New York at Stony Brook is seeking a consultant to provide design services for campus signage standards and specifications development. The consultant will assess the full range of existing campus signage and prepare comprehensive design standards and bid-ready technical specifications. The goal of this project is to establish a consistent and maintainable signage program that enables the University to repair, replace, and update signage across campus in a timely and uniform manner. • Evaluate existing campus signage • Develop standardized templates for all sign types • Define sign hierarchies and placement guidelines • Incorporate sustainable materials and fabrication methods • Prepare detailed technical specifications in CSI format • Coordinate with University Facilities & Services, Campus Planning, Accessibility, and Marketing & Communications to ensure design alignment and compliance with University policies.
