Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for deionized tank maintenance at the VA Loma Linda Health Care Systems. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing all DI water system processing tanks, as well as performing associated service repairs. The contractor must have experience with similar work and must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310. The contract will be for a base period of 5 years, with the option to extend for an additional 4 years.
Some key tasks include:
• Changing out all softener and equipment listed in the statement of work
• Maintaining, repairing, and installing all DI water system processing tanks
• Performing associated service repairs to all tanks, hose, and fittings as required
• Coordinating with the VALLHCS Plumbing Shop to schedule services
• Following all manufacture, city, state, and federal regulations for Deionized Tank Maintenance
