Description
West Deptford Township is seeking a qualified insurance brokerage firm or individual to serve as the municipality’s primary insurance advisor and negotiator. The contractor will advise on coverage needs, negotiate policies with insurers, manage policy renewals, and act as the main liaison between the township and its insurance carriers. The scope includes providing professional expertise, maintaining compliance with New Jersey insurance regulations, and supporting the township’s risk‑management objectives.
• Deliver comprehensive insurance program analysis and recommendations tailored to municipal operations.
• Negotiate, place, and administer property, casualty, liability, workers’ compensation, and other required policies.
• Manage renewal cycles, handle claims coordination, and serve as the point of contact for all insurer communications.
• Provide regular reporting, cost‑saving analyses, and attend township meetings as needed.
