Request for Statement of Qualifications for Insurance Brokers Program

The County of Los Angeles is seeking qualified vendors to provide insurance brokerage services to support the risk management needs of all County departments. The selected vendors will enter into a Master Agreement with the County and will be required to provide a range of services, including policy administration, claims services, and marketing. The vendors must have at least seven years of experience in providing insurance brokerage services to public entities and must have an active license listed on the California Department of Insurance Licensing Portal. The County is looking for vendors that can demonstrate expertise in providing tailored solutions and can proactively review and analyze the County's insurance programs. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing insurance brokerage services to the County • Administering insurance policies and processing claims • Marketing and renewing insurance policies • Providing certificates of insurance and other services • Assisting with mid-term coverage additions and changes • Maintaining appropriate accounting of amounts due and payments to insurers The selected vendors will be required to comply with all terms and conditions of the Master Agreement and will be subject to a detailed review process.
