Description
The Military Sealift Command is seeking information about the price and availability of four to six U.S. or foreign flag, roll-on/roll-off (RO/RO) bow ramp equipped "landing craft like" vessels capable of transporting a minimum capacity of 2,100 square feet per vessel and no less than 12,600 square feet combined capacity. The vessels must be beachable with a bow ramp deployable to piers, floating barges, or unimproved shorelines, and capable of repeated beaching/unbeaching. The vessels must also meet USCG or equivalent IACS construction and maintenance standards, comply with SOLAS/IMO conventions, and be capable of integrating sponsor communications and logistics I.T. systems. Interested parties are requested to provide information about their vessels, including name and description, COI, COD, photos, vessel specification sheet, and breakover angle for ramp when deployed to a pier, barge, or similar. Other required information includes internet configuration, upload/download speeds, bridge electronics detail, daily charter rate, and delivery/redelivery bonus.
