Description
The University of Maine System is seeking a vendor to deliver a university‑wide, enterprise‑level generative AI platform. The solution must provide a large, up‑to‑date language model for teaching, research, and administrative tasks, as well as support private/custom models for individual departments or research groups. Service delivery includes cloud or on‑premise hosting, continuous maintenance, security, data‑privacy safeguards, user training, and ongoing support across all UMS campuses. The award will be based heavily on technical compliance (45 % of total points) and cost (20 %).
