Design-Build to Budget (DB2B) Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) Hangar

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a design-build contractor to construct a non-standard design Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) Hangar for the storage and maintenance of Group 3, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The project includes the construction of a new addition and the alteration of an existing TUAV Hangar, as well as the installation of a fire suppression system, utility monitoring and control systems, and sustainability energy enhancement measures. The project also includes the construction of supporting facilities such as site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, landscaping, and signage. • The project requires the construction of one aircraft storage hangar, one covered aircraft re-fueling pit, one covered fuel storage area, two aircraft monitor buildings, and two aircraft monitor canopies. • The project includes the installation of a fire suppression system and bundled utility monitoring and control systems. • The project requires the incorporation of measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards. • The project requires comprehensive building and furnishings related to interior design services. • The project requires access for individuals with disabilities and heating and air conditioning using self-contained systems.
