The City of Hastings is soliciting bids for the complete replacement of 704 auxiliary‑boiler tubes in its WEC Unit 1 auxiliary boiler. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, removal of existing casing, refractory, insulation, and installation of the new tubes, along with hydrostatic testing, NDT, welding inspections, and final turnover documentation. The work includes necessary safety services, temporary facilities, and compliance with ASME, ASTM, and NBIC standards, and must be completed by mid‑December 2026.
• Scope covers full disassembly, tube installation, testing, and re‑assembly of the auxiliary boiler.
