Description
The County seeks a contractor to provide on‑call bypass pumping services for its water and wastewater infrastructure on an annual basis, with up to four one‑year renewal options. The contractor must supply, install, test, operate, and maintain self‑priming diesel‑powered pumps, associated equipment, spill‑containment, control systems, and provide 24/7 standby and emergency response capability. All costs must be embedded in unit‑price rates; no per‑diem or separate line‑item pricing is allowed.
• Provide standby, operational, and emergency bypass pumping equipment and full‑service support (installation, testing, operation, removal).
• Maintain a minimum of five local qualified staff and have at least two units of each pump size/type ready within 24 hours of notice.
• Meet insurance, E‑Verify, occupational tax, and ethical disclosure requirements; submit a comprehensive bid package by the extended deadline.
