Twist Bioscience Reagents

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is seeking to procure Twist Bioscience Reagents, specifically synthetic viral pathogen controls, from Twist Biosciences. The controls are necessary for the CDPHE's Genomic Surveillance Program, Sequencing and Wastewater Unit, to assess the efficacy of quantitative RT-PCR, dPCR, NGS, or equivalent tests. The sole source justification is based on the fact that Twist Biosciences is the only vendor that can supply the required high-fidelity, high-throughput, assay-ready, verified, sequence published, synthetic whole genome DNA/RNA viral controls.
