Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Rhode Island Hospital for a 5-year period to provide STAT and Non-STAT Clinical Lab Testing Services and Anatomic Pathology Consultation services. The contractor will provide professional and technical services, including materials, supplies, equipment, and qualified supervision. The services will be performed at the contractor's facility, and the contractor will serve as a back-up testing facility for the VA Medical Center in case of a catastrophic event. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and VA directives, including those related to HIPAA and information security.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing STAT and Non-STAT Clinical Lab Testing Services
• Providing Anatomic Pathology Consultation services
