Description
The Alabama Army National Guard is seeking information from potential sources to provide OCIE (Organizational Clothing Issue & Equipment) laundry support. The contractor will be responsible for laundering and dry cleaning military gear such as helmet covers, cold weather jackets, and sleeping bag systems. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform the required services. The contract will have a base period of 12 months and four 12-month option periods.
• The contractor must have experience in providing laundry services to the government or commercial customers.
• The contractor must have the ability to provide all necessary equipment and supplies.
• The contractor must have a plan in place for quality control and assurance.
• The contractor must be able to meet the required standards for cleaning and preservation of equipment.
• The contractor must be able to provide services during the current hours of operation, Tuesday through Friday, 0700-1730, except on recognized US holidays.
