Description
The City of Hahira is soliciting proposals for furnishing and installation of three diesel generators and accessories for its Police Department, Public Works Department, and a local apartment complex lift station. The equipment shall meet all aspects of the included specifications and be at locations shown in the proposal. The selected contractor shall furnish and install all materials, equipment, and labor for complete installation, perform site preparation as needed, provide and test the generator, provide training for City personnel, and provide all operation and maintenance manuals. Key features of the generators include a 60 kW generator for the Police Department, a 25 kW generator for the Public Works Department, and a 25 kW generator for the apartment complex lift station, all with automatic transfer switches and sound attenuated enclosures.
• The generators shall be designed, tested, rated, assembled, and installed in strict accordance with all applicable standards of ANSI, NEC, ISO, U.L., IEEE, and NEMA.
• The generator sets shall be standby and have ratings as detailed in the proposal.
• The contractor shall provide a full tank of diesel fuel for the completion of all testing.
• A complete system load test shall be performed after all equipment is installed.
• The equipment supplied and installed shall meet the requirements of the NEC and all applicable local codes and regulations.
