Description
The City College of San Francisco is seeking an Inspector of Record (IOR) to provide comprehensive inspection, documentation, and certification services for two intertwined construction efforts: the Evans Center modernization and a new spray‑booth installation. The IOR will be on‑site as needed, submit daily and periodic verified reports, and manage the DSA inspection‑card workflow to assure compliance with California building codes. The contract is open only to firms pre‑qualified via RFQ # 2025‑093, with a strong emphasis on Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) participation and required insurance coverage.
• Scope includes daily site inspections, DSA‑card approvals, and final verification for both the major campus renovation (structural retrofit, roof, MEP, parking, EV charging, etc.) and the spray‑booth installation (MEP adjustments, exhaust ducting, fire protection).
• Deliverables: daily logs, verified periodic reports (within 5 business days), final verified report, and certification documentation confirming the inspector’s qualifications and DSA approval.
• Eligibility: pre‑qualified firms only, California‑registered professional, SL/SLBE goals (≥ 50 % participation for credit), insurance minimums, business tax registration, and required certifications (debarrasment, non‑collusion, etc.).
• Submission deadline is March 31 2026, 2:00 PM PST; proposals must be emailed to Mariam Lam with copies to Tom Lam, Toby Lee, Anne Baskerville, and Shante Jordan.
