Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking bids for on-call, and as-needed multi-provider title and escrow services in Colusa County. The selected contractor will provide title and escrow services for the acquisition of properties needed to accommodate future State highway facilities. The contractor must possess a valid and current Title and Escrow license issued by the California Department of Insurance and be able to provide quick and timely preliminary reports on multiple parcels associated with a transportation project. The contract will be awarded to the two responsible bidders who submit the lowest bids and meet all the specifications.
• The contractor must have a Title and Escrow License issued by the California Department of Insurance.
• The contractor must be able to provide quick and timely preliminary reports on multiple parcels associated with a transportation project.
• The contractor must be able to provide escrow services for the acquisition of properties.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the California Civil Rights Laws and the Darfur Contracting Act.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and maintain adequate insurance coverage throughout the term of the agreement.
