The United States Air Force is seeking information from vendors who can provide commercial items and services, specifically heavy aircraft simulator services, to support staff evaluation and qualitative evaluation flights at the USAF Test Pilot School. The services required include providing a Boeing Wide-Body and an Airbus Wide-Body full-motion, Level-D simulator, as well as instructors and operators to provide in-simulator instruction and briefings. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the simulators, providing preflight and postflight briefings, and ensuring that the simulators are available and effective for 100% of scheduled student missions. The contract will be for a period of one year, and the contractor will be required to provide a resume or list of experience of instructor(s) to the Contracting Officer and Program Manager for review and consideration.
• The simulators must be in the same location to allow students and faculty to complete a side-by-side comparison of the aircraft on the same day.
• The newest models of Boeing and Airbus aircraft are highly desired.
• The contractor must provide additional training in historical airline crashes and emergencies.
• The contractor must provide use of heavy simulators in TPS Test Management Projects (TMP).
• The contractor must provide pre-deployment academic materials or videos for student familiarization with the aircraft's flying qualities, handling qualities, and avionics.
