V--Solicitation for AK Helo On Call

The Department of the Interior’s U.S. Wildland Fire Service is seeking qualified small‑business contractors to provide on‑call helicopter flight services throughout Alaska (with occasional lower‑48 support). The contract is a 5‑year IDIQ with multiple awardees, requiring the provision of FAA‑certified helicopters, pilots, on‑site mechanics, and—when operating in the contiguous United States—a fuel‑servicing vehicle. Offerors must demonstrate compliance with FAA Part 135/133/137, maintain an FAA‑approved Safety Management System by 28 May 2027, and meet detailed crew‑experience and equipment requirements (e.g., directional gyro, fire extinguishers, dual controls).
