26-054 Salt Spreader and Plow for 1 Ton Pick-up

The St. Charles County Parks Department is soliciting bids for the purchase and installation of a Snow Plow and Salt Spreader for a 1 Ton Pick-up. The contract will be for an approximate 12-month period. The bidder must supply parts, service, and maintenance manuals. The bid must include the make and model of the 8-ft Snow Plow and 2 Yard Salt Spreader offered, as well as the total price for each item. The bid must also include the anticipated delivery date and documentation that details the warranties. • The Snow Plow must meet or exceed the specifications of a Western Pro Plus 8 Ft Snow Plow. • The Salt Spreader must meet or exceed the specifications of a Buyers Salt Dogg Pro 2000 Salt Spreader. • The bidder must demonstrate comparability by including appropriate catalog materials, literature, specifications, test data, etc. • The County shall determine in its sole discretion whether a product is acceptable as an equivalent.
