Description
The Bridgewater State University is seeking a contractor to remove and replace the existing damaged vertical soffit located on the upper suspended track above the courts at the Adrian Tinsley Center. The soffit measures approximately 620 linear feet, is 18 inches wide, and runs in an oval configuration at a working height of about 12 feet. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials and labor required for demolition, installation, and finishing. The project requires compliance with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable building codes.
• The contractor must schedule work in coordination with Bridgewater State University to minimize disruptions to ongoing programs and facility use.
• A detailed work schedule shall be submitted and approved prior to mobilization.
• The contractor is responsible for implementing safety measures for workers, facility occupants, and equipment in the vicinity of the work area.
• A 50% Payment Bond is required upon award of the project if the total project value exceeds $25,000.
