RFI-10092025 Towing Management Services

The New York State Police (NYSP) is seeking information from vendors to provide towing management services. The services should include the administration of NYSP calls for towing services, oversight and dispatching of authorized towing vendors, tracking and reporting of service calls, and elimination of towing vendor bias or favoritism. The goals of this request for information include improving towing services for vehicle owners, streamlining the process for towing service calls, reducing tow response time, and reducing scene clearing time. Vendors should provide information on their towing management services, including their experience, capabilities, and pricing. • The NYSP has over 250 locations across New York State. • The towing management services should be able to handle approximately 40,000 calls for towing services annually. • The services should include the management of authorized towing vendors, tracking and reporting of service calls, and customer support. • The vendor should have experience in providing towing management services to government or law enforcement agencies. • The vendor should have a secure data storage system to protect customer agency and vehicle owner data.
