Prison Transport Buses

The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD) is seeking bids for prison transport buses. The buses will be used by the Department for Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and other state agencies. The contract will have an initial term of approximately one year, with options to renew for up to four additional years. The successful bidder will be required to provide buses that meet the specifications outlined in the solicitation. • The buses must meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and have a minimum seating capacity of 12 passengers. • The buses must be equipped with air conditioning, heating, and other standard features. • The successful bidder will be required to provide maintenance and repair services for the buses. • The contract will have a maximum value of $5,445,700.00. • The successful bidder will be required to provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
