Description
The City of Cornelia is seeking bids for the construction of the FY 2025 CDBG - Circle Drive Infrastructure Improvements. The project involves the installation of approximately 1,600 LF of 8" sanitary sewer main and 2,600 LF of 10" and 6" water main, including fire hydrants, valves, manholes, storm structures, pavement replacement, earthwork, grassing, soil erosion and sedimentation control measures, and appurtenances. The project must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days. The contract will be awarded to one bidder.
• The project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968.
• The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements.
• Bidders must complete the Qualifications of Bidder (Section 00470) to be evaluated for award of the Contract.
• The Contractor must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a “Utility Contractor” and must also employ a “Utility Manager” certification holder.
