Description
This solicitation seeks a firm‑fixed‑price contractor to completely rebuild and refurbish one concrete clarifier and one spare drive unit at the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant in Rio Rico, AZ. The work includes disassembly, replacement of worn mechanical components (bearings, seals, chains, sprockets, motor, pinion shaft/gear), installation of new stainless‑steel hardware, touch‑up painting, slab‑leveling, and functional testing. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and safety compliance, and provide on‑site training and warranty support for at least one year after acceptance. The effort is limited to 180 days of performance, with no construction activities, and all equipment must be delivered and installed on‑site.
• Rebuild of one concrete clarifier (paint, hardware, seals, sludge draft tube, scraper blades, weir/baffle repair, leveling, concrete wall grinding).
• Refurbish one spare Ovivo drive unit (pinion shaft/gear replacement or rebuild, seals, bearings, motor, chain, sprocket, torque limiter, limit switch).
• Provide all necessary tools, crane, PPE, and disposal of waste per federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct functional testing, training of NIWTP staff, and deliver comprehensive operation & maintenance manuals.
• Warranty of workmanship and materials for a minimum of one year from acceptance.
• Project must be completed within 180 calendar days after contract award.
